183 more sections of Companies Act, 2013 have been notified by CG.

Central Government (CG) has been implementing the new Companies Act in a phased manner. With this initiative it has notified on 26^th March, 2013 i.e. today 183 sections of the new Act which will come into force from 01.04.2014.

On 29^th August 2013 the Companies Bill, 2013 got signed by the president of India. Later, the CG was in the process of making the Rules under the Act. On 12.09.2013 the CG notified that 98 sections of the new Act shall come into force with immediate effect.

Again on 27^th February, 2014 Section 135 of the Act, along with Schedule VII relating to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was notified by the CG to be effective from 1^st April, 2014. 

CA IPC Exam and Calcutta University B.com. Hons.3rd year exam,2014 clashed

This year also there is a clash between CA IPC exam and CU B. com. 3rd year Exam. B.com 3rd year exam is going to be started from 26th May which was earlier scheduled at 7th April. IPC  exam is starting from 27th May. First 3 papers of group 1 of IPCC falls on alternate days with B.com. hons. But the last one i.e. taxation paper clashes with Financial Management Paper in B.com.; both falls on 2nd June, 2014.

There is no problem with the 2nd group exam. But it is very difficult to get prepared for the exam. In 3rd year there are 4 honours subjects. Though the subjects in the 2nd group of IPCC match with those in the 3rd year, it is very difficult to put effort for both the exams conducting at the same time.

Anyway, students have to make with this schedule. Best of luck in advance for all the aspirants for their exams.

Calcutta University Undergraduate Exam Schedule 2014 revised

Due to election process the Exam routine of undergraduate programme of Calcutta University has been revised. 

B.Com. Part III, Part II and Part I exams are going to be commenced from 26.05.2014, 10.06.2014 and 08.07.2014.

The detailed routine is yet to be published by Calcutta University.
